About the artist
Easel in one hand, canvas in the other, Claire can often be seen across the countryside in search of her next landscape.
The artist, originally from France, is now settled in the Wicklow Hills, where she has spent years exploring the Garden of Ireland. Claire's oil paintings are a gateway to the heart of Wicklow. She paints in the open air, where her connection to nature becomes integral to the work.
Also featured in her work are delicate and ethereal water colours and intricate and meticulous pencil drawings.
Claire's art can be found in private collections in Ireland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and America.
